Figure Drawing Basics

Learning to draw anatomy can be quite challenging but it can be made a lot easier if you break down each element to its simplest forms. Using basics forms will allow us to memorize the shapes more easily and give us a foundation to build upon.

Drawing basic forms is similar to learning how to crawl before learning how to walk, it might not seem as exciting on the surface but its an integral skill if you want to learn quickly. This also allows us to draw from imagination with less struggle than trying to memorize contour lines of poses.
